        • What is the difference between SneakPeek Gender At-Home and SneakPeek Gender Clinical?

          With SneakPeek Gender At-Home, you receive a test kit that provides everything you need to take the test, from the comfort of your home. Choose from two sample-taking methods, Lancet or Snap. The sample is then mailed back to SneakPeek Labs in our prepaid package for analysis.           SneakPeek Clinical lets you visit a participating location to have your blood drawn or use SneakPeek Snap in a clinical setting (depending on location). The clinic then sends your sample to SneakPeek Labs for analysis. See our SneakPeek Clinical page to find a location near you.

        • How is the DNA blood sample taken?
          The SneakPeek Gender Test® analyzes fetal DNA in the mother’s bloodstream to detect male chromosomes. A small blood sample is collected using either the SneakPeek Snap (a virtually painless microneedle device) or the Lancet kit (which includes three finger-prick lancets). After collection, simply mail your sample to our Labs, where it is processed for over 99% accurate results. For those choosing SneakPeek Clinical, a professional will draw your blood for the early gender test at a nearby ultrasound office or assist with the Snap method before securely sending your sample to the lab for processing.
        • Is SneakPeek Clinical accurate at 6 weeks into pregnancy?
          At SneakPeek, we're constantly working on improving the sensitivity and accuracy of our test. From May to August 2021, we launched a large-scale study to validate our improved test, and provided accurate results to 113 out of 113 women who were 6 weeks into pregnancy. We feel confident that customers who take our test at 6 weeks gestational age will continue to experience over 99% accuracy. The SneakPeek test is the same whether your blood sample is taken through SneakPeek Clinical or collected through SneakPeek At-Home using Lancet or Snap. All methods are fine for use at 6 weeks, with over 99% accuracy.
        • My blood sample was taken at a participating location. What is the status of my results?
          The studio or clinic you visited has tracking information for your blood sample's return to SneakPeek Labs. We apologize, but SneakPeek does not have access to this information. Please contact the participating location directly regarding the status of your sample or results.
