"Individual results were unique and fun to read" "Easy to take" "Results were spot on"
I was so excited to see what SneakPeek Traits would say and how accurate it would be. Needless to say it was pretty much spot on. I would definitely suggest doing this with kids. It was fun and really neat to learn new things I didn’t already know.
I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and easy to read results. The test itself was easy to administer. All of the individual results were unique and fun to read. The parent portal is easy to navigate. Overall, I am very happy with the test and service!
I was nervous about doing the swabs on my infant, but it turned out to be easy! The instructions were very clear. The results were exact on appearance, the rest is TBD as my son is still an infant. I’m very impressed with how the data comes to life, they are extremely interesting to read!
The test told us so much about our children who had different sperm bank donors! What our daughter’s hair color would be, as well as thickness and style (straight, curly, wavy). It also explained why our 6yo son has always hated refrigerated aisles – he has an increased sensitivity to cold stimuli!
All from the comfort of your home. No needles or blood, just a swab of your child’s mouth.

SneakPeek Traits DNA Test is taken from the comfort of your home. We send a kit with everything needed, and DNA is collected with a simple rub of the inner cheek with a swab. When your sample arrives back at SneakPeek Labs, we genotype it and create analysis reports that provide insights into the unique traits of your child.
Learn MoreSneakPeek Traits incorporates a widely-used genetic mapping method called genotyping to analyze differences in DNA and determine what traits an individual may have as a result.
Learn MoreWe know DNA information is sensitive and highly personal. To ensure your privacy is protected, Traits results are only shared securely, and you control your information.
SneakPeek Traits uses genetic information to provide what your child is likely to look like as an adult, your child’s BMI and vitamin levels, and sleep information such as sleep duration, all as predicted by your child’s DNA. The secure Parent Portal lays out what each personalized result means, as well as additional resources and helpful tips and advice. Get ready to learn more about your unique child.
These trait reports outline the physical features your child is likely to have in adulthood as predicted by genetics. The reports also include background information and fun facts about each feature.
Our rigorous reports use the most current genomic studies, for results you can trust.
The test is designed to be easy to use for babies and toddlers ages 0-3 years old, to learn about their future adult physical features such as height or hair texture, and provide nutrition and sleep advice geared for their age and DNA. Older children and adults can also take the test to learn more about themselves and compare family members.
The test is safe for use during pregnancy. However, keep in mind that the test provides results for the DNA of the person whose mouth is rubbed with the swab (in this case, the mother). Thus, the test will not provide any DNA results for unborn babies, even if used during pregnancy. If you would like to know more about your baby, please wait until after birth to use the test for your baby.
If you have difficulty collecting the first swab, take a break and try again later with the second swab. Swabs do not have to be collected on the same day. Regardless of collection process, we recommend sending back both swabs to ensure there is enough DNA for the test. However, if you are truly only able to collect 1 swab, please send it back. Often one swab has sufficient DNA to run the test.
Your reports can only be viewed in your Parent Portal. We will not provide reports via mail or email.
